Java Time

From earliest concept stages to the selection of an architectural firm and on to the design of the first location, brainstorming for this series of high-end coffee cafes in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia never lost its momentum. While busy bringing the interiors to life with signage, posters, menu boards, art installations, furniture and lighting, we worked with best-in-class pros to develop gourmet coffee drinks, drinking chocolate and a repertoire of icy frappes.

Our logo design set the precedent for coffee cups, napkins, merchandise, interior graphics, murals, menus and posters with coffee-related subject matter.

Spacious interiors, an complimentary color palette with touches of modern fabrics and finishes created just the right upscale ambience for meeting friends and sipping JavaTime brew.

So successful was the JavaTime concept that it grew from its original 150 square foot locations to 20+ stores across Riyadh. Several drive-thru operations and an airport kiosk soon followed.

We also developed a bakery for them, and brought in world-famous pastry chefs and bread bakers in from San Francisco to create special bakery items. JavaTime now has fresh baked goods in all their cafes.
